Dr. Tanu is a public health professional, and has been working over a period of seven years in the field of project implementation and healthcare research. She is a qualified Dentist and has completed her Master’s in Public Health from International Institute of Health Management and Research, New Delhi. She started her career with the implementation of the National Program of India in Bihar with CARE India, Bihar funded by BMGF in collaboration with the Government of Bihar. She has also worked as a Quality Manager with Haryana State Health Resource Centre (HSHRC) – providing the techno-managerial support to government hospitals in Haryana while supporting various national programs at the district level.

She had also been appointed as the SCIENTIST- B in AIIMS, New Delhi for a DST funded research project in urban and rural parts of NCR, India. She has successfully implemented various innovative public health strategies and tech. based solutions for strengthening health systems and generating evidence-based policy research. She has a demonstrable experience of designing and implementing multiple program interventions, and end to end project management. In MAMTA, she is responsible for implementing the USAID project – Samagra in the urban slums of Delhi with focus on App based MIS development, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, planning and implementation of the project, data quality assessment, capacity building and documentation and communication with the funders.
