Dr Devika Mehra is an Assistant Director for Monitoring, Evaluation and Research. She comes with a decade long experience in the development sector. She has a PhD in Public Health from Lund University (Sweden) and MSc. in International Health Management and Development from University of Birmingham (UK). She has expertise in conducting implementation research, evidence-building, monitoring & evaluation of programs, and interventions focusing on Sexual Reproductive Health and rights (SRHR), Gender based violence, HIV among young and key populations using m-health, mental Health and child marriage in Africa (South Africa and Uganda) and Asia (India and Nepal).

She is a lead quantitative researcher in a project on sexual violence among youth in India (funded by Physicians for social responsibility, Finland), improving mental wellbeing and resilience among adolescents and young married women within Government of India’s RMNCHA strategy with a corporate donor (SBI card and KPMG) and is providing technical assistance to WHO (Geneva) on the youth health situation of adolescents in Afghanistan. She also has significant number of scientific publications that she has authored and co-authored.
